Shepard and the team in battle. The enemy have gotten tired of losing fights and teamed up with the other angry races to die together.

Incredible! Is that a purgatory inmate I see there? Lol. Very well done! I have a new wallpaper now :p

There's 2 husks being shot by Thane, a Batarian being shot by Garrus and a vorcha suffering Samaras biotics. And a collector with a grudge against Tali for some reason!

Lol, poor Tali. I was just saying though that the batarian being shot looks like he's maybe wearing a purgatory inmate jacket. [link] See what I mean? :p

Yeah. I'm trying to think if there were any batarian inmates. I'll keep an eye out next playthrough! The ones you see in the cells are all human, I thought maybe the Turian warden hated humans!

Actually, on Mordin's recruitment mission, there's a bit of a 'side-quest' to find his student. You come across him in a side room shortly near the end of of the level, I think the room on the otherside of where you go to turn off the fans. Anyway, he'll be held at gunpoint but a couple of batarians. If you notice, for whatever reason, they're all wearing Purgatory inmate uniforms. Part of the reason why my paragon, more often than not, shoots them dead the moment they lower their weapons. Lol.

Yeah I remember. I don't think they are from purgatory, they are more rational than you'd expect a criminal from there to be! My canons Paragade but I still let them go! Got a few playthroughs that I have killed them, those Sheps just feel evil!

I didn't renegade them until I took notice to the uniforms. I think some trivia wiki hinted it to me sometime ago. I agree, they seem rational for inmates. Doesn't explain why they're wearing purgatory inmate uniforms though. I figure better safe than sorry. I spared the Asari on Samara's recruitment mission on my first playthrough, only to later find out she had duped me. I don't make that mistake a second time. Sure, they might just be coincidentally wearing inmate uniforms. I don't believe they would had broken out, no one can break out. But the warden did say that if the planet the inmate is from doesn't pay him to keep them, he'll release them back. I don't see Aria paying for him to keep three criminals off Omega. So they were probably dropped back on Omega with nothing left on them but their inmate suits. Or maybe I'm just reading way too much into it. Lol.

I think the first playthrough I killed the Asari on Samaras recruitment because the renagade icon popped up as the asari reached for her gun. Also Pitne For tells you every eclipse sister commits murder to earn the uniform, and she was wearing the uniform.

I find it unlikely there were any arrests made from Omega, if they were inmates realeased then they made their way there. But I don't think they were, because who would wear such an outfit for longer than they have to? They got guns, I'm sure getting new clothing wouldn't be a problem. I think it's either a developer oversight or they aren't the same outfit.
